July Accent Workout: Boston

About This Class

When: Saturday, July 27th, 10am - 2pm PT Where: Online via Zoom Cost: $30 10 students maximum This 4-hour online workout class is dedicated to helping actors perfect a Boston accent. Whether you're starting from scratch, just need a little refresher, or even if you just want to watch, this class will help you make confident, grounded accent choices while performing. You will be provided with an instructional video outlining the basics of the accent at least one week before the session. Then, you will prepare a monologue or scene to bring to class, where you will have the opportunity to perform multiple times and receive personalized feedback to help you master the accent. No need to memorize or tape the scene ahead of time, unless you want to. Actors are also welcome to observe and not participate, though the entry fee is still required.
